SPOILERS AHEAD
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Mass is the best-selling fourth instalment in the ACOTAR series. It is a short novella, based around the Winter Solstice in the Night Court. This companion novella focuses more on Feyre and Rhysand, and is full of cute, fluffy romance between lovers, family and friends, and shows the true nature of celebrating holidays. I loved that there was no end-of-the-world subplot, just some fun and lighthearted playing and conversations between all the characters.
Another notable point is this book highly focuses on getting to know the inner circle, and how each of them heal after such a tragic war. We get to see them laugh, hurt, cry and reminisce on both the good and the bad days. After everything they went through in ACOWAR, they all deserve to be happy and make plans to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

"Stars flickered around us, sweet darkness sweeping in. As if we were the only souls in the galaxy."
The added multiple perspectives give us all a true insight and light onto each of the characters. As much as I don't particularly love duels and multiple POVs, this one was done so well and I loved being able to get to know these characters more.
The romance in this book was also strange compared to the previous three. The tension between Cassian, Azriel, and Mor, plus the tension between Feyre and Rhysand was a strange combination to be shared during a Christmas-type season. I am not a huge fan of Nesta, she pisses me off and is always mad at everyone for no reason. I understand she's upset about what happened with the Cauldron, but all of them did everything they could, and still try to do everything they can to support Nesta, and all she does is give them crap and make them feel like they're not doing enough.
"You were born on the longest night of the year. You were meant to be at my side from the very beginning."

Overall, I would give this book a 3.5/5, it was good and cute but just lacked the elements that the previous ones had. I loved being able to watch them recover after the war, but that's what made this series so likable, the constant battle with not only others but themselves. I am excited to see what happens in ACOSF, but I am not excited to see Nesta more in-depth.
